Practice quizzes help you test your knowledge before your exam. They’re available within your online course, and exam-style practice questions are also in the Courses by The Institutes mobile app.
How to Access Practice Quizzes
- Log in at TheInstitutes.org.
- Go to My Courses & Exams and launch your course.
- Look for Practice Quizzes within the course content.
Practice on the Go: Courses by The Institutes
The Courses by The Institutes app is included with designation courses (except ANFI) and has exam-style practice questions plus audio lessons:
- Download Courses by The Institutes from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in with your Institutes account, or with your company email if you study through your employer.
- Select your course and choose Practice.
Note: The old Institutes Course Companion app has been retired. Quiz history from Course Companion doesn’t carry over to the new app.
Tip: Use practice quizzes after each assignment to reinforce key concepts. For the most exam-like experience, take the Simulated Exam when you’re ready — it closely mirrors the actual exam format and timing.
What to Know
- Practice quiz results are for your preparation only — they do not count toward your exam grade.
- Quizzes can be retaken as many times as you’d like while your course is active.
- The app shows the courses you’re enrolled in. If one isn’t showing, confirm it appears in My Courses & Exams on TheInstitutes.org. See My Course Isn’t Showing in the Mobile App.
