If you’ve enrolled in a course but it doesn’t appear in your Institutes mobile app, the fix depends on which app you’re using.
Important: In Course Companion, most courses must be manually provisioned by Customer Success before they appear — syncing alone will not fix it. Standalone online courses, CEU courses, Essentials courses, and certain certificates don’t appear in Course Companion at all. In the Courses App (CPCU and AIC), there’s no provisioning step — if you’re enrolled, it should appear automatically after signing in, so a missing course usually means an enrollment or sync issue rather than a provisioning one.
Steps to Try
- Pull down to refresh on the app’s home screen to force a sync.
- Log out and log back in to the app.
- Check your enrollment — log in at TheInstitutes.org and confirm the course appears in My Courses & Exams. If it’s not there, the enrollment may not be complete.
- Update the app — make sure you’re running the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
- Reinstall the app — delete and re-download if the above steps don’t work.
If Your Course Still Doesn’t Appear
Contact Customer Success. Have ready:
- Your full name and student ID
- The course name you’re trying to access
- Whether you’re using iOS or Android
- Whether you’re using Course Companion or the Courses App
Note: Not all courses include mobile app access. Course Companion is included with designation courses only — standalone online courses, CEU courses, Essentials courses, and certain certificates don’t appear. The Courses App currently covers CPCU and AIC courses only.
