Obtaining Designation Verification & Confirmation Letters

Modified on Wed, 3 Jun at 10:18 AM

To get an official letter verifying your Institutes designation (CPCU, ARM, AINS, etc.), contact Customer Success with your request.

How to Request

  1. Contact Customer Success.
  2. Provide your full name, Student ID, and the designation you need verified.
  3. Specify what the letter should include (e.g., completion date, courses completed, designation status).

What You Can Request

  • Designation verification letter — confirms you hold a specific designation
  • Completion confirmation — confirms specific courses or exams completed
  • Good standing verification — confirms your designation status for an employer or third party

Note: Third-party requests (e.g., from an employer) may require your written authorization due to privacy policies.

Background-Check Vendors (First Advantage, HireRight, etc.)

If a background-check vendor is asking you for documentation to verify your designation, they have two options:

  • You provide it directly: the simplest path is usually to share your completion certificate (resend it to yourself if needed — see How to Get Your Completion Certificate Resent) or this verification letter.
  • The vendor contacts The Institutes: they can send a verification request to Customer Success with your signed consent / release. We’ll respond directly to the vendor. See Education Verification for Background Checks for the vendor-facing process.
