Management Add-On Designations (AIC-M, AU-M)

If you hold the AIC or AU designation, you can earn a management add-on (AIC-M or AU-M) by completing additional management-focused coursework.

How It Works

1. Complete all requirements for your base designation (AIC or AU).
2. Complete the required management course(s) for the add-on.
3. The management designation is added to your record automatically once requirements are met.

What to Know

• The add-on builds on your existing designation — you must hold AIC or AU first.
• Check your Progress Tracker at TheInstitutes.org to see remaining requirements.
• If your completion isn’t reflected in the system, contact Customer Success.
