If you need exam accommodations due to a disability, The Institutes provides options under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
How to Request Accommodations
- Email your request to specialconditions@theinstitutes.org. You may also fax to 610-725-1010.
- Include:
- Your full name and Student ID
- The exam and testing window you’re registered for
- A description of the accommodation you need (e.g., extended time, screen reader compatibility)
- Documentation from a qualified professional supporting your request
- Submit your request well in advance of your exam date — do not wait until exam week.
Available Accommodations
Important: Accommodations must be approved before your exam. If you register for an exam before your accommodation is confirmed, contact Customer Success to adjust your testing window if needed.
Accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis and may include:
- Extended exam time
- Separate or modified testing environment
- Assistive technology compatibility
- Other reasonable modifications
