Exam Cancellation, Refund & Forfeiture Policies

Once you register for an exam, your registration is tied to a specific testing window. Here’s what happens if you need to cancel or miss your exam.

Cancellation

• Exam registrations can be transferred to a future testing window before the current window closes. A transfer fee applies.
• Outright cancellations and refunds are generally not available once an exam is registered.

Forfeiture

If you do not take or transfer your exam by the end of the testing window:

• Your exam registration is forfeited.
• A forfeiture fee may apply.
• You will need to purchase a new exam registration for a future window.

Extenuating Circumstances

Exceptions to the cancellation policy may be considered for:

• Death in the immediate family
• Medical emergencies
• Catastrophe duty
• Other approved circumstances
