Important: The CPCU In Good Standing CE reporting program was discontinued on December 31, 2025. The CPCU designation itself does not expire and does not require ongoing CE to maintain.
What Changed
- Before 2026, CPCU holders could voluntarily report CE hours to maintain “In Good Standing” status.
- That program is no longer active. There is no replacement CE reporting requirement for CPCU.
- Your CPCU designation remains valid regardless of CE activity.
State CE Requirements (Separate)
If your state requires CE for your insurance license (not your CPCU designation), that is a separate requirement:
- Use the State CE Credit & License Information page on TheInstitutes.org to check your state’s requirements.
- Institutes designation courses may qualify for state CE credit — check before registering.
