CAS DISC Exam Registration & Activation

CAS DISC exams follow a different registration process than standard Institutes designation exams. You cannot self-register online — you’ll need to contact Customer Success to activate your exam. Exam activation is included in your package purchase — there is no separate fee to activate.

Note: When you purchase a CAS DISC course, you’ll select an anticipated testing window — but this does not commit you to that window. You can contact Customer Success to activate your exam registration at any time, and you don’t have to commit to a specific window until you’re 100% ready.

How CAS DISC Registration Works

Important: CAS DISC exam registration is not self-service. The “Register for Exam” or “Buy Exam” buttons on the website do not apply to CAS DISC exams. You must contact Customer Success to activate your exam window.

CAS DISC exam activation requires contacting Customer Success. Here’s the process:

  1. Purchase your CAS DISC course on TheInstitutes.org. The exam is included in the package — no separate exam purchase is needed.

  2. Complete your coursework — exam activation is available at any point, though most students finish the course before activating.

  3. Contact Customer Success to activate your exam. Include all of the following in your message — missing information will delay activation:

    Full name:
    Exam name: CAS DISC [IA / RM / DA]
    CAS Customer Number:
    Date of birth (month/day/year):
    Testing window:

    Tip: Log in at casact.org to find your CAS Customer Number — it’s a 13-character combination of letters and numbers listed in your account profile.

  4. Customer Success will activate the exam in your account at no charge.

  5. Once activated, launch the exam from My Courses & Exams — you can test anytime during your registered window.

Transfers and Deferrals

Not yet activated your exam? If you haven’t contacted Customer Success to activate your exam yet, there is no fee to choose a different testing window — just contact Customer Success with your preferred window when you’re ready.

Already activated for a specific window? If your exam is already active and you need to move to a different testing window, the standard exam transfer fee applies. Transfers can be completed online or by contacting Customer Success.
