Learn how to request exam accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Eligibility & timing

  • Accommodation requests must align with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Requests must be emailed at least 30 days before your exam date.

Email requests to Assessments@TheInstitutes.org with the required documentation:

  • An IEP or Section 504 plan (if applicable)
  • A diagnostic statement from a qualified professional
  • A description of functional limitations
  • An evaluation that includes the professional’s name, title, and credentials

What to expect

  • Requests are reviewed by the Assessments team.

  • You will be notified if additional information is needed.

TIP: Submit your request as early as possible to allow time for review and follow-up before your testing window.
