If you hold the ARM (Associate in Risk Management) designation, some of your completed ARM coursework may count toward the CPCU designation through cross-credits.
Important: Cross-credits from ARM to CPCU are based on the current CPCU program structure. If you completed ARM courses under an older curriculum, contact Customer Success to confirm which courses still apply.
How It Works
- Log in at TheInstitutes.org.
- Go to My Designations and select the CPCU program.
- Check your Progress Tracker — any ARM courses that cross-credit will appear as completed.
If eligible cross-credits are not showing, contact Customer Success with your ARM completion details.
What to Know
- Cross-credits are applied automatically when both designations are in the same account.
- You still need to complete any remaining CPCU-specific courses and pass those exams.
- International ARM completions (e.g., University of Toronto) may require manual verification.
