Can I take Institutes courses from outside the United States?
Yes. Institutes designation courses, exams, and online courses are available to students worldwide. All exams are delivered virtually, so you can test from any location with a reliable internet connection.
How do I order study materials as an international student?
International orders must be placed through theinstitutes.org. A shipping quote is generated automatically at checkout based on your location.
- Canada — Use UPS Standard for shipping.
- All other international addresses — Use UPS Saver.
International packages are shipped "Deliver Duty Unpaid," meaning you are responsible for any customs duties or taxes assessed upon delivery.
Orders shipping to India
Study materials for students in India are printed and shipped from southern India, which results in faster delivery and significantly lower shipping costs. Orders typically ship within 4 business days.

Can I take my exam virtually from outside the U.S.?
Yes. All Institutes designation exams are delivered virtually and can be completed from any location with an internet connection, a laptop or desktop computer, a webcam, and a microphone.
