How to Access a Free Sample Course
Important: Free sample courses are preview-only — they do not count toward designation requirements, CE credit, or program completion. They are designed to help you evaluate the learning experience before purchasing.
- Go to TheInstitutes.org and browse Designations.
- Select a program page (e.g., CPCU, AINS, ARM).
- Look for the free sample course option on the program page.
- Click Enroll — no payment is required.
- The course will appear under My Courses & Exams in your account.
What to Know
- Most designation programs offer a free 30–60 minute sample course.
- Sample courses expire after 90 days.
- You need an Institutes account to enroll — see How to Create Your Institutes Account if you don’t have one.
- Corporate users cannot order free samples through a prepaid agreement — students enroll directly on the website.
