Insurance Services Designation Overview (AIS)

Modified on Wed, 3 Jun at 10:17 AM

The Associate in Insurance Services (AIS™) is a leadership designation for insurance professionals who want to develop an innovative, customer-focused, and data-driven mindset.

How It Works

  • AIS (Associate in Insurance Services) — Covers customer service excellence, innovation, data-driven decision making, and continuous process improvement. Designed for professionals who want to drive innovation throughout the insurance value chain.
  • Self-study format with online courses and proctored exams.
  • No prerequisites — anyone can enroll.

Tip: If you’ve already earned one of 14 qualifying Institutes designations, you only need one additional course to complete AIS. This makes it one of the fastest designations to add to an existing credential.

Common Misunderstandings

Important: AIS is not a customer service certificate. It is a full professional designation focused on innovation, strategy, and service excellence within the broader RMI industry.
