Data Analytics Designation Overview (AIDA)

Modified on Wed, 3 Jun at 10:17 AM

The Associate in Insurance Data Analytics® (AIDA™) is a technical designation for insurance professionals who work with data or want to build data fluency in their current role.

How It Works

  • AIDA (Associate in Insurance Data Analytics) — Covers data analysis, data modeling, data ethics, and insurtech. Designed for RMI professionals who want to implement sound data practices and work more effectively with data scientists.
  • Self-study format with online courses and proctored exams.
  • No prerequisites — anyone can enroll.

Tip: AIDA is a strong complement to other designations. If you already hold AINS, ARM, AIC, or AU, AIDA builds on that foundation with data-specific skills.

Common Misunderstandings

Important: AIDA is not a technology or IT degree. It is a professional insurance credential focused on applying data concepts within the risk management and insurance industry.
