What's New: ACRR (Catastrophe Risk & Resiliency)

Modified on Wed, 3 Jun at 10:18 AM

The ACRR (Associate in Catastrophe Risk and Resiliency) designation focuses on catastrophe modeling, climate risk, and organizational resilience.

Overview

ACRR is one of The Institutes’ newer designations. Like other Associate designations (AINS, AIC, AU, ARM), it consists of a small set of online courses, each with its own exam, plus a required ethics component. There is no recurring fee or CE requirement to maintain the designation once earned.

The program prepares professionals to assess, model, and manage exposures from natural disasters, climate change, and other catastrophic events — including how organizations build operational resilience.

Who It’s For

  • Catastrophe modeling analysts
  • Risk managers focused on natural disaster and climate exposures
  • Underwriters and actuaries working with catastrophe data

How to Enroll

Important: ACRR courses are online-only — there are no printed textbooks. Course outlines are available as printable PDFs within the online platform.

  1. Go to TheInstitutes.org and search for ACRR.
  2. Review the program requirements and course list.
  3. Add your first course to cart and complete checkout.
